THIS IS SIMPLY WRONG… ON SO MANY LEVELS
Since I’ve dispensed with my $100/month cable bill years ago, a lot of what I watch on the modern-day “boob tube” is streamed through YouTube. And three, four, five, six or more times a day, my senses are assaulted and I have to click-through six seconds of this rubbish video. I wish it wasn’t so. I’m trying to figure out what I can do to filter out this flow of misinformation from my YouTube feed.
Would you pay $15/month to watch or be subjected to this propaganda? What is Master Class possibly thinking?
If it proves just one thing, YouTube’s recommendation algorithms and their attendant AI really suck. After all, at one time, in 2015 and 2016, I owned the domain name, “imnotreadyforhillary.com.” If those YouTube algorithms were worth anything, they would have stopped serving up this slop three months ago.
While I am sure that there are some worthwhile programs available through Master Class, this is not one of them. That is unless you think that getting a class on resilience from Hillary Clinton is a good thing. It’s like getting a lesson in mass murder from Mao Zedong, Genghis Khan, Adolf Hitler, Joseph Stalin, Idi Amin, or Pol Pot. That’s the way I look at it.
Over the years I’ve had a long-running discussion on Facebook with someone, a colleague in my professional field who shall remain nameless (but my long-time followers on Facebook — my primary social media publishing platform — know exactly who I mean) who thought I had some sort of Hillary Clinton fixation or fetish. I don’t, I just think she is the single-most contemptible public figure in America (but Nancy Pelosi is giving her a run for her money).
I just know that if this self-entitled woman had won in 2016, America would be in a far worse situation today (I’m posting this on January 6th, 2022). America, as we have long known it, would likely not exist anymore. Can you imagine, even just for a minute, eight years of a Hillary Clinton Administration? I can’t. It’s a bridge too far, way too far.
So as we now suffering through the new Democrat and mainstream media annual Sixth of January celebrations today, with all its attendant silliness, stop for a minute, look back. Think just how much worse things would be right now if it was the self-centered narcissist Hillary Clinton had been president for the last five years.
I can’t. And neither should you.
